All data is pulled directly and automatically from the United States Geological Survey (USGS).
The dashboard connects to the official USGS GeoJSON live feed, polling for new data every 60 seconds to ensure you are seeing the most accurate, up-to-the-minute reports available.

- Click any event in the sidebar to instantly fly the map to the earthquake's epicenter.
- Filter events by minimum magnitude or search for specific regions (e.g., "California", "Japan").
- Circle size and color correspond to the severity (Magnitude) of the earthquake.
